How do I connect the IP camera to the network?

You can connect the camera using an Ethernet cable.

What should I do if I forget my password?

You can reset your password using any of the following methods: Security Question Verification, Email Verification, or Mobile Number Verification.

Security Question Verification: Select Security Question Verification and enter the answers to all three security questions that were set during initialization. Click Next to proceed. Then, enter your new password in the Set New Password field, re-enter it in the Confirm Password field, and click Next to complete the process.

Email or Mobile Number Verification: Select Email Verification or Mobile Number Verification. Scan the QR code using the AIL-Master Pwd app available on the Google Play Store and App Store. A verification code will be sent to your registered email address or mobile number. Enter the code in the Verification Code input box and click Next. Then, enter your new password in the Set New Password field, re-enter it in the Confirm Password field, and click Next to complete the process.

Does the camera support PoE (Power over Ethernet)?

Yes, the camera supports PoE, which allows power and data transmission through a single Ethernet cable.

What is the default username and password?

The camera is initially in an uninitialized mode. Users are required to initialize the device and set a password before use.



How can I reset the camera to factory settings?

You can reset the camera using the option available in the Web GUI.

Does the IP camera support night vision?

Yes, the camera has built-in infrared (IR) LEDs for night vision and can record in low-light or dark environments.

Does the camera support full-color night vision?

On selected models with Dual Light technology, the camera delivers clear, full-color images in White Light mode, even in dark environments.

What is the purpose of the ‘Intelligent’ option in Day and Night mode?

When the Intelligent option is enabled in Day and Night mode, the Dual Light camera automatically turns on the White Light when motion is detected in dark conditions, allowing it to capture full-color images. When no motion is detected, the camera continues to operate in IR night vision mode.

Does the camera support motion detection?

Yes, the camera supports motion detection and can send alerts to your email.

How do I enable motion alerts?

On the Web GUI, go to Camera Setup → Event → Motion Detection → Enable and set the sensitivity level.

Does the camera support audio recording?

Some camera models have a built-in microphone for audio recording, while others have an Audio In port to connect an external microphone. Please check the product specifications to confirm.

Does the camera support two-way audio communication?

Some models come with a built-in microphone and speaker, while others are equipped with Audio In and Audio Out connectors for external devices. Check the product specifications to confirm.

What is the use of Nexicode in camera?

When Nexicode is enabled, it optimizes video compression, reducing file size and bandwidth while maintaining high image quality.

Can multiple users view the same camera?

The camera supports multiple users, but performance depends on network bandwidth and hardware capacity.

How do I change the camera resolution?

You can change the resolution from the camera setup menu in the Web GUI.

What is bitrate and why is it important?

Bitrate controls video quality and bandwidth usage. Higher bitrate provides better image quality but uses more network bandwidth and storage.

Does the camera support multiple video streams?

Yes, the camera supports multiple streams (main-stream and sub-stream).

What storage options are supported?

The camera supports storage on:

NVR (Network Video Recorder)

SD card (on supported models)

Can I record video without internet?

Yes, local recording works with an SD card (on supported models) or on an NVR even without internet.

Does recording start automatically when I insert the SD card in the camera for the first time?

The first time you insert the SD card, go to the camera’s Web GUI → Settings → Record Management → SD Card Control.

·      You will get a prompt to format the SD card.

·      Select your SD card and click the Format button.

·      Next, you will be asked to set a new password for SD card encryption. Enter a password and confirm it.

·      Click OK, and you will get a prompt to confirm SD card formatting.

·      Click OK again.

The SD card will be formatted and encrypted with the password you set, and recording will start automatically.

Can I remove the SD card and view videos on my PC?

No, as the SD card is encrypted, direct playback on a PC is not supported.

Will the SD card work if I use it in another camera?

If you are using cameras of the same brand/model, you can remove the SD card from one camera and insert it into another. After inserting the SD card into the new camera, you will need to verify it using the password set when the SD card was encrypted in the first camera.

Are the videos on the SD card encrypted?

Yes, videos stored on the SD card are encrypted for security.

What video formats does the SD card store?

The SD card stores videos in MP4 format.

What is the maximum SD card size supported by the camera?

The camera supports up to 1 TB.

What recording modes does the camera support?

The camera supports regular recording, motion-based recording, and alarm-based recording.

Do I need special software to play encrypted videos from the SD card?

You can download videos in MP4 format using the camera’s Web GUI → Playback → Download option. Once downloaded, the videos can be played directly on your PC.

Why isn’t the SD card recording after performing a factory default on the camera?

When the camera is restored to factory default, the system is re-initialized. Because the SD card is encrypted, recording does not start automatically. The user needs to go to the storage management section in the camera and verify the SD card password. Once the password is verified, recording will resume normally.

Does the camera support FTP/SFTP?

The camera supports both FTP and SFTP. When configured, the camera will send snapshots to the specified destination directory on the server.

Does the camera support ONVIF?

Yes, the camera supports the ONVIF protocol.

Does the camera support time and date synchronization?

Yes, the camera supports automatic time synchronization through NTP (Network Time Protocol).

What should I do if the camera disconnects frequently?

Check network stability, power, and cable connections. Ensure the firmware is updated to the latest version.

How often should I update the camera firmware?

It is recommended to update the firmware whenever a new version is released to improve security and performance.
